Illustration: A Short Character Evolution.

Some long over due Nonestica Illustration news!

Y’know,
When I illustrate characters for the Nonestica Project,
Usually, I have to go through around 20 to 30 pieces of paper.

I fill the pages with sketches of heads and looks and clothes etc… until I hit upon the look of the character.

Not the case with this one folks.
Here’s a sketch I did on the train some days ago:

And here’s the 2nd Illustration:

I never ever nail the look of a character in 2 takes.
Never!

This particular character is really well written and described.
It makes my job a helluva lot easier and rewarding.

The last one is the one.
That will now actually feature in the book.

Bye for now folks!
Al.
