Kelvingrove Art Museum, Glasgow: Part II.

Y’know,
If ever you find yourself in Glasgow,
Stuck for inspiration,
Take yourself to Kelvingrove Art Gallery:

Something right?
There’s a scene in the book I’m doing which is similar to these floating heads.
I will be using these photographs as inspiration.

Actually,
They’ve always reminded me of L. Frank Baums’ Oz series.

  1. If I remember correctly that museum also has a gallery of furniture from the Charles Rennie Macintosh era. That’s the other thing to do in Glasgow – visit at least one of the Macintoch buildings which still survive.

  2. That’s right silverseason,
The Rennie Macintosh buildings/collections are a must.

Before the year is out I will go and photograph as many of these buildings as I can.

    Thanks for the comment!
