I’m A Cuckoo.

Not me.

I’m on about the song ‘I’m A Cuckoo’ from Belle & Sebastians’ ‘Dear Catastrophe Waitress’ album.

Its a favourite album for me by one of my favourite bands.

Anyways, they mention the band Thin Lizzy in this song and it got me thinking.
Then realising.
Then thinking.
Then realising how ‘Thin Lizzy’ the song actually is.

The words, the feel, and the structure and chords are straight out of Thin Lizzys’ ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’.
I don’t care if this is common knowledge.
I just noticed.

Anyways, apart from being a great track, it also has a great video too filmed on the streets of Glasgow.
